BLACKPINK has revealed that the group is filming the M/V for the title-song of their 2nd full album.

According to YG Entertainment on the 24th, BLACKPINK members are in their last stages of filming the M/V with staff members at a music video production site located in Gyeonggido Province.

The group is pulling off intense schedules to keep their promise with fans despite their hectic schedule of preparing for the world-tour and comeback stage. YG said global fans’ enormous love and support is giving strength to the members.

BLACKPINK will be releasing their ‘BORN PINK’, the 2nd full album on September 16th. Their pre-release single ‘Pink Venom’ can be seen as an introduction song to their album. The song portrays BLACKPINK’s originality and also signified the start of their major project.

That’s why attention was drawn to their title-song which will be released next month. Although exact details such as the title of it hasn’t been unveiled yet, insiders have been saying that the real deal is actually their title-song of BLACKPINK’s 2nd full album.

As a matter of fact, YG had said, “All songs listed in the album will re-write BLACKPINK’s history, but the title-song will put global fans in shock. The music video is something that’s never seen before, and will heighten the status of K-POP with its originality.

Attention is also being drawn to their album sales. Pre-reservations for their 2nd album which comes in 3 different forms, the BOX SET, Kit, and LP, sold more than 1.5 million copies within a week. The Digi-pack version was added on the 22nd, and it has no become a fact that they’ll reach the most number of sales as a K-POP girl group.

After wrapping up the M/V for the title song of their 2nd full album on the 24th, the girls ill head to the U.S. tomorrow (25th) to take the stage of ‘MTV VMAs’ and conduct promotional activities for their full album.
