Sandwiched between Gossip Girl’s Whitney Peak and Vogue’s Edward Enninful, Jennie played the classic Chanel fashion card – with a twist. Wearing a red bouclé crop top and mini skirt decorated with pearls, she was a chic exemplar of Virginie Viard’s modern Chanel woman: one part prim, two parts rebellious.

There was plenty for Coco Jennie – an affectionate nickname that reflects her status as a Chanel ambassador – to love in the spring/summer 2022 collection. From the sweet knitted bralettes and shorts, which she wears in the brand’s teaser film below, to the vanity case bags and ballet pumps that come with decorative anklets, it’s only a matter of time before those double Cs make an appearance on @jennierubyjane.

Francophiles have been living vicariously through her Instagram, as J and Jisoo shared sweet glimpses of their date nights (you can never have too many sunset snaps of the Tour d’Eiffel it seems). But nowhere did Jennie look more overjoyed than watching Chanel’s latest confections flutter down the runway in a cloud of bouclé and quilted leather. Heaven.
